The city of Leeds is known for being quirky and flaunting it’s edginess, and this has rubbed off particularly on everyone’s favourite sugary snack. Donuts!

Temple is very popular within the donut scene of Leeds. Found hidden on Kirkstall road, Temple donuts is a vegan based bakery selling everything from coffees to merchandise, but are especially renowned for their instagramable donuts! Out of all the donut outlets in Leeds, I’d rate temple a 10/10.
Dukes Donuts:

Found on cardigan road, Dukes donuts are great example of a cracking donut. Even branching out using Uber eats to get everyone their donut fix, which they definitely deserve. Another big plus is that it’s open till 2am, unlike Temple which unfortunately closes at 4pm. The donuts are vegan based just like Temple, however the designs are definitely not as instagramable. Along with this the range of flavours are tiny. Overall I’d rate dukes donuts a 6/10.

Found in the heart of Leeds city inside the corn exchange, 42nd east bakehouse is a high end bakery. Focusing on everything, not just donuts. The variety of bakes made and sold here are amazing, however many may find it very pricey. Overall I’d rate 42nd east bakehouse a 7/10.
